Drachten residents without water for some time

All residents of the Frisian city Drachten have some time Friday morning with no running water chairs. The cause was under water Vitens a leak in a water pipe at the site of the water tower. The leak came around 07.00 hours. Because the leak so close to the water tower was flooded the area, according to a spokesman for Vitens quickly filled with water. The water, with an average of half a meter, is closed. The 44,500 residents of Drachten now receive water through two other pipelines. "It does take some time before the pressure there is on display everywhere, but around 10.00 hours, everything back in order." The cause of spontaneous fracture is still being investigated. "There was no question of an accident or something like that. It is difficult to ascertain because the leak is still under water."
